Janette has undergone extensive training with a master gilder in the intricacies of frame restoration and gilding using 17th century recipes and techniques, complemented by the latest materials sourced from Italy, Germany and Holland. Ornate corners can be replicated and replaced, regilding can be done, either in imitation gold leaf or in 23 carat gold, and patinas hand-made to recreate the original aged look.
