Keynote Framing & Gilding Studio, located in the heart of Everton Hills, is a family owned business, operated by Janette & Steven van den Berg.

Janette & Steven have been operating the business since 1999 and are the only framers in Brisbane to have won two prizes in the prestigious National Picture Framing Award – First prize in 2002 and Second prize in 2003. This competition is open to all framers in Australia and is judged on innovative design, creativity and quality craftsmanship. Truly an achievement all framers covet.

In order to keep abreast of international trends and advanced framing methods, Steven regularly attends workshops and visited Bologna, Italy, in February 2008 to meet with world renowned framing experts. This expertise is invaluable in terms of bringing the latest trends to Brisbane.

Specialising in conservation framing, Keynote Framing & Gilding Studio offers fully archival materials, including the Alphamat Artcare System, archival backing and UV resistant glass.

A full pick-n-mix supermarket range of framing products is also available for the more budget conscious.

We also employ one of the world’s most advanced computerised mat cutters, and so can offer unique matt-carving and innovative design.

All framing is professionally done onsite using state of the art equipment.
